Atholl Square is a neighbourhood shopping centre on Katherine Street, Sandown, near Wierda Valley just south-east of the
Sandton CBD. Entrance in Wierda Road East: GPS Coordinates: -26.10697, 28.06611.
This centre serves Strathavon, Sandown, Wierda Valley, Simba, and the southern Sandton CBD. If it has a theme, that theme is
"food". There are a number of sit-down restaurants, two
supermarkets (Woolworths and Spar), several boutiques, hair and nail salons.
There is one medical practice (doctor and dentist),
an optician, dietitians, florist, and copy shop. The centre has three levels: Basement (covered parking,
Spar, florist, and ATMs), Ground (open parking, most shops and restaurants),
and an upper floor (offices and medical practices).
The Ground Floor clusters around a central atrium, shown in the middle of the picture above.
The lift and stairs (tower in the middle of the photo) are at the front, and
escalators deeper in. This atrium contains the restaurants, the
umbrellas of which can be seen above. For another view, see the

There is plenty of free open-air parking with a little shade, with covered parking in the basement (around to the left as
you enter). There are car guards and security staff.

The basement consists mainly of covered parking. Vehicle access is on
the extreme left of the centre; pedestrian access is down the stairs, lift, or escalators. The Spar and florist are off
