Worth bookmarking if your company uses multiple languages, is Google Translate.
 
There are two boxes: Input and result. Google may automatically detect the language, or you can click a button above the input box (or the drop-down list arrow) to select the input language if it gets it wrong. Click a button above the output box (or the drop-down list arrow) to select the output language, then click the "Translate" button. It helps if you have some knowledge of the output language: Google Translate is still a work in progress and misses a lot of the nuance of the language. You can improve its abilities by editing the contents of the output box.
 
Apart from English, Google Translate now also has Afrikaans, Xhosa and Zulu. Perhaps some of our readers who speak Ndebele, Northern Sotho, Sotho, Swazi, Tsonga, Tswana, or Venda could give Google a basic vocabulary of those languages?

When you email your readers, you can make them aware of their industry and at the same time demonstrate your expertise.  Write about the problems your customers encounter, that you have solved.

Write about the problem, not the solution –though you do want to indicate that you were able to solve it!

People have an abiding need to be understood.  In writing about the problems your customers face, you will show that you understand them.

What's Available?

The newsletter has a column of adverts approximately 50 mm wide (200 pixels) down the left-hand edge.
It also has banners maximum 20 mm high and the width of the main text, in between sections.

You can include text and small pictures in both kinds of adverts.  Examples appear on the left and directly below.

What's The Cost in the Newsletter?

Banner adverts: R500 + VAT per banner per issue.
Left-hand column: A square advert (200 x 200 pixels, about 50 mm square) costs the same as a banner.  Other heights are priced in proportion, e.g. A Column Advert 400 pixels high would cost double.
Premium for top of column and top banner (only one of each!): R500 + VAT.
The minimum booking is for two consecutive issues (a single entry is not effective).
Quoted prices exclude VAT and are to be paid in advance of publication.

Save 10%: Book and pay for a four-month run and get 10% off the above prices. Save 20% on a six-month run, 33.3% off for a year!
