Montrose Nursery and Gia's Coffee Shop are located in Morningside, Sandton, on South Road between Rivonia Road and Bowling Avenue. The centre is right next to (east of) Morning View Shopping Centre, which itself is just east of Rivers Church. You can only get to Montrose Nursery from the eastbound carriageway (that is direction Rivonia Road to Bowling Avenue). If you are going westwards, make a U-turn at the traffic light in front of Morning View Shops.

Montrose Nursery: Telephone 011 783 1252 – Montrose is the only remaining Garden Centre in Morningside, and has a wonderful selection of plants, many of them indigenous. They also stock garden herbs, seeds, seedlings, trees, compost, mulch, potting soil, pot plants, a large range of pots and interesting adornments for the garden: Benches, plaques, sundials, statues, stepping stones, etc. Ask about their loyalty card programme. Gia's on Montrose: Telephone 011 326 5074 – "The Nature of Coffee" run by Wayne and Michelle Groenewald, is a relaxed coffee shop that also does light meals and snacks, open daily in the scenic grounds of Montrose Nursery, surrounded by lovely plants.
