Business Tip:
Google Hacks –
View Cached Version:
Google is the world's most popular search engine. So it helps to know
a bit more about using it than the average person.
It is easy to go to
www.google.co.za and
type in a website address, yours for example, for Google to open. But what if
the page is slow or does not respond?
Google takes a snapshot of each web page as a backup in case the current page
isn't available. These pages then become part of Google’s cache. If the website
you're trying to visit is slow or not responding, you can use the cached link
instead..
To do this, put "cache:" (note the colon) in front of the web address. For
example, cache:megaplex.co.za
You will see Google's cache of the page. It will tell you the data and time they
took the snapshot of the page (the live page could have changed in the
meantime). This is also useful for webmasters to get an idea of how up to date
Google's records are. Try it now with your website!

WhatsApp: What do the Ticks Mean?
With more than one billion users,
WhatsApp Messenger is the most popular messaging application in
the world. It allows you to send messages to contacts over an
internet connection, rather than using your SMS allowance.
If you’ve been using WhatsApp and have been puzzled by the tick
marks, here’s the answer:
WhatsApp uses a system of ticks to indicate different statuses
of messages you send. The ticks appear at the bottom right hand
corner of the message speech bubble, next to the time stamp. One
grey tick means that the message has been sent successfully. Two
grey ticks mean that the message has been delivered successfully
to the recipient’s phone. If the two ticks turn blue, that means
that the message has been read.
The ticks also appear in WhatsApp group chats.
